Arlene Sheluga, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at Marywood Heights. Born in Taylor, she was a daughter of the late Bartley and Bertha Wozniak Sheluga.
A 1962 graduate of West Scranton High School, Arlene worked at Trane prior to retirement.
She is survived by brothers-in-law, John Opiela and Leo Sheporaitis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Evelyn Sheluga, Dorothy Opiela and Joan Sheporaitis.
The funeral will be Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul of the Cross Parish at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, 1217 Prospect Ave. Interment of her ashes will follow at her family's plot at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
