Gladys Ann Grogan MacDonald, 102, passed away peacefully Friday, May 1, at Mountain View Care Center. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Neil W. MacDonald, who died in 1998.

Glady was proud of her Irish heritage and was thrilled to have visited Ireland twice with Neil. She was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. "To know her was to love her." She was born during the Pandemic of 1918 and passed during the Pandemic of 2020.

She is survived by her five loving children, Jeanne and husband, Edward Wirth, Macungie, Pa.; Neil and wife, Norie, Scranton; Ronald and wife, Joan, Scranton; Michael and wife, Patricia, Tioga, Pa.; and William and wife, Lori, Scranton; 13 adoring grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
